Hlair ("we," "us," or "our") operates a high-performance hair care and competition platform. This policy outlines how we handle data across our ecosystem, including the Arena Battles, AI Style Lab, and Salon Discovery features.
2. Information Collection & Sourcing
- Partner Content Sourcing: To provide a seamless onboarding experience for our salon and stylist partners, we may source publicly available images and videos from your professional Instagram or social media profiles. This content is used solely to build your branded Hlair profile and showcase your artistry to potential clients.
- AI Processing Data: When you use the AI Style Lab or Hair Diagnosis, you upload photos of your hair or face. These images are processed transiently to generate a transformation or diagnosis. We do not use these images for facial recognition or permanent identification.
- Account Data: We collect basic profile info (Name, Email, Photo) via Google Sign-In to manage your votes, rankings, and bookings.
3. Use of Your Artistry
If you are a participant (Salon, Stylist, or Individual), your submitted transformations—including those sourced from your professional social media—will be displayed publicly in the "Arena" for voting and discovery. This is a core function of the platform designed to maximize your industry exposure.
4. AI Image Generation
Our AI models generate synthetic "after" images based on your uploaded photos. While we strive for realism, these images are representations and may not perfectly predict physical results. By using the AI Style Lab, you acknowledge that processed images may be temporarily stored to facilitate your user experience.
5. Data Sharing
We share your booking data (Name, Phone, Service) only with the specific salon or stylist you choose to book with. We do not sell your personal data to third-party advertisers.
6. Security
We use industry-standard encryption and Firebase security protocols to protect your data. However, no digital transmission is 100% secure. You participate in the arena at your own discretion.
